Principal's Message

Dear Grand Lake High School Families,

It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year at Grand Lake High School! We are thrilled to begin another year of learning, growth, and success, and we look forward to seeing our students' smiling faces return to campus.

At Grand Lake High School, we take great pride in fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive. Our commitment to academic excellence, high expectations, and meaningful relationships remains at the heart of everything we do. Working together with our families, staff, and community, we are dedicated to ensuring that every student reaches their fullest potential—academically, socially, and personally.

Our administration, faculty, and staff are committed to providing a well-rounded educational experience that prepares students for success beyond high school. We offer a wide variety of rigorous core and elective courses through both the Jump Start and University pathways, allowing students to explore their interests while preparing for college, careers, and life.

Beyond the classroom, we encourage every student to become involved in extracurricular and co-curricular activities. Participation in athletics, clubs, organizations, and leadership opportunities helps develop teamwork, responsibility, character, and school pride while creating lifelong memories.

As we begin this new school year, I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for our Hornet family. Together, we will continue to build on our tradition of excellence, celebrate our achievements, and support one another as we strive for success.
