Vocational Agriscience
I am a 1989 graduate of Grand Lake High School. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness from McNeese State University in 1993. I later earned my teaching certification through McNeese State University in 2004.
I am certified to teach Vocational Agriculture as well as Business Education. I am also a certified instructor in NCCER Core, CITF Carpentry I/II, CITF Welding I/II, Vocational Mechanics, and am a licensed Landscape Horticulturist.
For the 2023-2024 school year, I am teaching the following classes, with the student certifications available for each class:
- Workplace Safety (NCCER Core certification; CITF Core Certification; OSHA certification)
- Ag III (Vocational Mechanics certification - Electricity, Small Engines, Welding)
- Carpentry I ( CITF Carpentry Level 1 certification)
- Welding I/II (CITF Welding Level 1 and Level 2 certiciation)
This is my18th year teaching at Grand Lake High School, with a total of 20 years teaching experience.
